About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary Source Finance lead and strategic thought partner for global WCH, BIO, and A&R Procurement teams and platform Supply Chain organizations
Translate complex financial, supplier, and operational data into insights, recommendations, and decision support
Drive forecasting, tracking, and analysis of purchase price variances, including cost improvement projects, price increases, tariffs, and raw material surcharges
Independently lead month-end close, analyze large datasets, resolve accounting and business issues, prepare executive-level commentary, and present results
Provide financial and accounting leadership for complex supplier and commercial arrangements, including consignment and flash-sale models
Lead annual standard-cost-setting across hundreds of suppliers and thousands of SKUs
Partner with Surgery PMO and business leaders to evaluate and validate financial business cases for cost savings, product launches, operating expenses, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
Build trusted partnerships across stakeholder networks while maintaining financial integrity, transparency, and compliance
Participate in CFIN and Anaplan deployment and adoption for MTSC
Help shape future-state processes, challenge legacy practices, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate work
Ensure compliance with accounting requirements and Johnson & Johnson Procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required
Supply Chain (Finance or Ops) experience preferred
Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Ability to establish, maintain, and improve business processes
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot
Experience in SAP, Anaplan, AFO, PowerBI, and JDE preferred
Comfortable with ambiguity and experience building and implementing financially viable business models
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a hybrid team environment
Passion for meeting stretch objectives
Understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including responsible and ethical AI practices
Experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity
