About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide monthly and ad hoc resource insights and analytics to assigned functions
  • Own end-to-end resource forecasting models, including supply versus demand, overtime, attrition, J&J/Flex ratios, throughput, and resource trends
  • Gather requirements and lead forecasting model validation, deployment, monitoring, and control
  • Translate complex analyses into executive-ready summaries, presentations, visualizations, and recommendations
  • Connect analytical findings to business priorities and influence resource allocation and long-term capacity strategies
  • Enable financial planning cycles, including BP, JU, NU, and monthly CF
  • Partner with Finance, Functional Business Operations, Resource Decision Support, Project Managers, Planning & Portfolio Solutions, IT, and other stakeholders
  • Lead capabilities including machine learning, model accuracy metrics, and manual demand monitoring and control

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience
  • Expertise analyzing and visualizing complex resource, portfolio, or operational data
  • Experience evaluating historical trends and applying data mining, simulation, optimization, predictive modelling, or machine learning
  • Ability to translate sophisticated analyses into actionable recommendations and executive-level summaries, presentations, and visualizations
  • Success building partnerships, influencing decisions without direct authority, and aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking
  • Resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment when managing ambiguity, competing priorities, challenge, and feedback
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally
  • Preferred: planning/forecasting experience; pharma R&D experience or awareness; Planisware knowledge; parametric algorithms or ML models for resource forecasting; Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Minitab, or similar reporting and statistical capabilities
