About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead global Customer and Vendor Master Operations for Supply Chain
- Own and continuously improve end-to-end customer and vendor master data processes, including intake, validation, approval, creation, change, blocking, deactivation, and duplicate prevention
- Partner with Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Global Supply Chain, IT, and Shared Services to align master data processes and rules with business requirements
- Serve as a systems leader for customer and vendor master capabilities in ERP and adjacent systems
- Support enhancements, integrations, data migrations, testing, and transformation initiatives
- Maintain governance, controls, segregation-of-duties requirements, standard operating procedures, and audit evidence
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team and/or matrixed resources
- Monitor service levels, throughput, backlog, performance, and data quality metrics
- Address root causes and escalate complex customer or vendor master issues
- Provide subject-matter expertise for data standardization, process harmonization, automation, and lifecycle governance initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in master data operations, customer or vendor data management, shared services, supply chain, procurement, commercial operations, finance operations, or enterprise systems within a global organization
- Experience leading or governing customer and/or vendor master data and related processes in SAP or another ERP platform
- Strong understanding of customer and vendor master data and its impact on order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain, tax, finance, and regulatory processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional, global stakeholders, manage operational priorities, and influence without direct authority
- Experience improving standardized workflows, service delivery, data controls, and performance metrics in a regulated environment
- English required
- Ability to travel up to approximately 15% domestically and internationally
