About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead global finance master operations supporting supply chain systems and processes
- Oversee financial master data operations enabling supply chain planning, manufacturing, distribution, and financial reporting
- Ensure master data processes align with global standards, policies, and compliance requirements
- Integrate finance master data with material, customer, vendor, plant, and supply chain structures
- Provide strategic oversight of Chart of Accounts design and application
- Support finance-related data flows across supply chain platforms
- Collaborate with IT and system owners on enhancements, issue resolution, and operational stability
- Translate business and operational needs into standardized, scalable master data solutions
- Lead data mapping, cleansing, validation, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Establish governance, controls, and documentation for finance master data operations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit expectations, and regulatory standards
- Identify data risks and drive remediation
- Serve as primary contact for global and regional Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders
- Support global initiatives, transformations, and integrations affecting supply chain finance data
- Advance enterprise-wide master data capability through stakeholder education and governance leadership
- Drive process simplification, standardization, and automation
- Lead, coach, and develop a global or regional team
- Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field
- Generally requires 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance operations, master data management, supply chain systems, or related operational roles
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization supporting complex business operations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their intersection with finance data
- Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of finance organizational structures and master data domains
- Knowledge of data governance, internal controls, and audit support
- Experience supporting enterprise supply chain and ERP environments preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries preferred
- SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA preferred
- SAP MDG or a comparable master data governance platform preferred
- Finance transformation, global template deployment, or large-scale ERP implementation experience preferred
