About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own HEMA projects and initiatives contributing to market expansion opportunities for the VELYS Knee platform
- Provide input to product pipeline projects, including target product profiles, economic value propositions, and evidence generation strategies and plans
- Lead evidence generation projects establishing product value
- Implement reimbursement strategies enabling market access and commercial success for the VELYS Knee platform
- Develop value tools, including value dossiers, value analysis briefs, economic models, and dissemination initiatives
- Demonstrate the value of the VELYS Knee platform and orthopaedic surgery
- Support and coordinate HEMA associates’ work to support commercial business objectives, without direct people management responsibilities
- Collaborate with Regional HEMA partners and cross-functional partners including Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, Professional Education, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal
- Report to the Director, HEMA
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences related field is required
- An advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in health economics, outcomes research or healthcare-related field is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in medical device, pharmaceuticals or HEOR consulting is required
- Ability to work from strategy development through execution and value creation in a dynamic and fast-paced global organization, with minimal oversight
- Experience in health services research, health economics, outcomes research, market access, health policy and reimbursement
- Experience developing global market access assessments and evidence generation strategies
- Ability to build partnerships and engage with multifunctional teams to provide input and influence decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and demonstrate influence capabilities
- Experience working in decentralized and cross-functional business models
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of data collection and review practices
- Proactive, highly responsible, and accountable approach
- Up to 20% travel required
