About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary Logistics CoE team
  • Create an empowered culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish priorities, goals, and performance expectations aligned with business strategy
  • Develop talent pipelines, succession plans, capability-building programs, and organizational development initiatives
  • Own the Logistics CoE strategy and execution roadmap
  • Establish process ownership for warehouse, distribution, inventory, material flow, weigh and dispense, and logistics systems
  • Define standards, governance, KPIs, operational controls, and performance management processes
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Manage performance metrics through operational reviews and business dashboards
  • Identify and eliminate process gaps, inefficiencies, and waste
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, EHS, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards
  • Maintain inspection readiness and audit preparedness with Quality and Operations
  • Lead risk assessments and manage deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and investigations
  • Lead logistics transformation, automation, digital capability, and business process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders on network strategies, technology transfers, capacity improvements, and supply chain optimization
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics
  • Build partnerships with Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Science, Procurement, and global functions
  • Communicate priorities, risks, opportunities, and performance updates to senior leadership
  • Deliver safety, operational performance, process reliability, inventory accuracy, service performance, quality/compliance, continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and strategic project outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline
  • APICS certification
  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Minimum 5 years leading teams and/or complex cross-functional programs
  • Experience with GMP/GDP regulated environments
  • Experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proven success managing complex stakeholder environments and organizational change
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferred: Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industry experience
  • Preferred: Experience leading warehouse and distribution transformations
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP, advanced planning systems, analytics platforms, and digital supply chain solutions
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent operational excellence certification
