About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet or exceed sales expectations within the assigned Seattle territory
  • Call on predominantly primary-care healthcare professional offices and selected primary-care targets, in person and virtually
  • Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety to support on-label prescribing
  • Develop superior product and disease-state knowledge
  • Use assigned budgets effectively and customize customer interactions based on customer needs
  • Independently drive sales performance and meet territory expectations
  • Maintain understanding of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
  • Share market insights with internal stakeholders
  • Provide input into regional resource allocation and select appropriate customer programs and resources
  • Provide compliant educational programs to healthcare providers
  • Develop a local business plan with the District Manager and stakeholders
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II colleagues and share best practices
  • Manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample reporting, and expense reporting
  • Meet or exceed NSR deliverables
  • Complete required company and job-related training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • 1+ years of documented success in B2B sales experience
  • Previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales preferred
  • Antipsychotic and/or bi-polar sales experience is a plus
  • Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers
  • High integrity and compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration and cross-functional skills
  • Track record of success learning and adapting to an evolving environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills
  • Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work meetings outside normal working hours
  • Ability to travel overnight depending on territory geography
  • Ability to travel domestically to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings periodically
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
