About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support clients in the Jacksonville, Florida territory
- Meet or exceed sales expectations within assigned geographies ethically and compliantly
- Identify customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities
- Develop product and disease-state knowledge for clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals
- Create local strategic and tactical plans and manage territory budgets and expenses
- Call on primarily Primary Care healthcare professional offices and select targets in person and virtually
- Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety
- Customize customer interactions based on customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
- Share market information with internal stakeholders
- Provide input on resource allocation and select appropriate customer programs and resources
- Provide compliant educational programs for healthcare providers
- Develop a local business plan with the District Manager and stakeholders
- Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities
- Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II colleagues and share best practices
- Manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, samples, and expenses accurately
- Complete assigned company and job-related training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- 1+ years of documented success in B2B sales experience
- Pharmaceutical, biologics, and/or medical device sales experience preferred
- Antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales experience is a plus
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong product and disease-state knowledge
- Ability to analyze data and metrics
- Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills
- Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information
- Ability to adapt to telemedicine and virtual environments
- Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours
- Ability to travel overnight depending on territory geography
- Ability to travel domestically to headquarters, training, and sales meetings periodically
