About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support clients in the Seattle, WA territory, including Tacoma, Lakewood, Olympia, and the Canadian border
  • Meet or exceed sales expectations within assigned geographies ethically and compliantly
  • Call on predominantly Primary Care healthcare professional offices and select PC targets in person and virtually
  • Educate and engage healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety
  • Identify customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities
  • Develop product and disease-state knowledge for compliant clinical dialogue
  • Create local strategic and tactical plans and allocate resources and budgets effectively
  • Maintain knowledge of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
  • Share market intelligence with internal stakeholders
  • Select appropriate programs and resources for customers, practices, and systems
  • Provide compliant educational programs for healthcare providers
  • Partner with the District Manager and stakeholders on local business plans
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II colleagues and share best practices
  • Manage work hours, sales-call data, customer objectives, communications, synchronization, samples, and expenses accurately and promptly
  • Complete required company and job-related training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • 1+ years of documented success in B2B sales experience
  • Previous pharmaceutical, biologics, and/or medical device sales experience preferred
  • Antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales experience is a plus
  • Strong desire and passion for improving patients’ and caregivers’ lives
  • High integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration, and cross-functional skills
  • Proven success learning and adapting in an evolving environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess objectives, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills
  • Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work meetings outside normal working hours
  • Ability to undertake overnight territory travel as needed
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
