About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage healthcare professionals and stakeholders using customer-specific approaches
- Develop expertise in the Neuroscience portfolio, including Caplyta
- Communicate approved clinical and scientific information using authorized materials and information-sharing policies
- Develop and execute strategic pre-call and account plans
- Identify, prioritize, and engage key stakeholders
- Optimize selling time and stakeholder access across accounts and care settings
- Analyze business and market data to identify opportunities and adjust execution strategies
- Apply knowledge of payer access, affordability, and reimbursement dynamics
- Build trust-based relationships with customers and internal partners
- Conduct two-way clinical and scientific discussions addressing customer needs
- Collaborate with internal partners across face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels
- Support patient-centered care, coordinated treatment planning, appropriate therapy utilization, and adherence
- Partner across functions to deliver a consistent customer experience and achieve business objectives
- Share field insights to inform planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement
- Adhere to Health Care Compliance policies and guidelines
- Use CRM and approved AI-enabled tools to strengthen prioritization, planning, and follow-through
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred
- Valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty United States
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales, account management, customer-facing roles, business-to-business sales, or recent transition from Active-Duty Military
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including possible overnight and weekend travel
- Must live in the Washington, DC geography or be willing to relocate there
- Experience using a structured sales approach and adapting engagement to customer needs
- Experience identifying account obstacles, gathering information, determining next steps, and escalating appropriately
- Experience building trust-based customer and internal partnerships
- Experience creating and executing territory or account plans
- Experience partnering across internal teams and coordinating actions
- Ability to analyze business-related data in graphs, tables, and reports
- Preferred: experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area
- Preferred: experience with complex accounts, institutional environments, or integrated delivery networks
- Preferred: experience navigating payer access, reimbursement, and affordability dynamics
- Preferred: consistent achievement of sales goals in a competitive environment
- Preferred: ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Preferred: commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI
- Preferred: clinical and scientific communication experience using approved materials
- Bilingual English and Spanish (conversational) highly preferred
