About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Expand sales of Janssen products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policy and sales direction
  • Support the aligned region/division for sales-related activities and assume territory responsibilities as a Sales Representative upon successful completion
  • Devise and implement customer-specific pre- and post-call selling approaches
  • Use approved clinical studies and marketing aids to support product value propositions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans covering local-market opportunities, strategies, tactics, resources, and stakeholders
  • Develop territory coverage plans and maximize selling time with account professionals and key stakeholders
  • Customize value propositions and influence contract implementation processes within Metro NY institutions
  • Develop and apply knowledge of payer access and affordability landscapes
  • Target key accounts using integrated business plans aligned with district, regional, and company goals
  • Analyze business analytics to identify territory opportunities, strengths, trends, and business-plan effectiveness
  • Report to a District Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of United States Armed Forces Military experience
  • Transitioning from active duty military service or less than four years removed from active service preferred
  • Valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States and ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
  • Proven record of success throughout military career
  • Demonstrated successful experience as a people manager and/or leader
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, thrive in ambiguity, and deliver results
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Willingness to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR, Varicella, and annual background checks
  • Residing in the geography or willingness to relocate to it
