About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead regional execution of the U.S. Precision Medicine strategy through focused account plans
- Build trusted relationships with oncology, pathology, laboratory, practice, population health, and health system stakeholders
- Assess patient testing journeys, biomarker pathways, and account-level testing landscapes
- Identify opportunities that strengthen patient identification and biomarker-driven decision-making
- Evaluate account readiness for upcoming launches
- Translate customer, market, and testing insights into actionable plans
- Deliver approved precision medicine education, resources, biomarker testing strategies, and diagnostic solutions
- Collaborate across functions to address operational barriers, coordinate customer engagement, and align resources
- Cultivate key opinion leader relationships
- Maintain accurate business records
- Conduct activities in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
- Report to the National Director, Precision Medicine Accounts, JNJ Oncology
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree (B.A./B.S.) required
- Minimum 8 years of business experience
- 2 years of Precision Medicine experience required
- Oncology experience required
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnights
- Valid driver’s license within the 50 United States required
- Strategic approach to customer interactions and ability to drive meaningful change
- Ability to advance work and execute in a matrix organization
- Strong marketplace knowledge in precision medicine
- Ability to work well in ambiguity and identify current and future opportunities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- High level of commercial capabilities and clear cycles of success in prior commercial roles
- Commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies, such as AI
- Preferred skills include customer centricity, hematology, industry analysis, market knowledge, oncology, organizing, performance measurement, pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical sales marketing, problem solving, resource management, revenue management, sales, sales enablement, sales trends, strategic sales planning, team management, and technical credibility
