About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters
  • Provide clinical and technical assistance and training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including the CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, and Stockert RF generator
  • Educate customers on electrophysiology products through technical information and in-service training
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify sales opportunities
  • Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with key decision makers
  • Plan and schedule customer case support
  • Collaborate with regional teams, Territory Managers, EP Clinical Account Specialists, Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialists, Field Service Engineers, Regional Business Directors, Marketing, and field management
  • Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues
  • Build customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, and hospital staff
  • Stay current on product instructions for use, best practices, troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product information
  • Respond to requests in high-stress environments and formulate solutions through diagnostic dialogue
  • Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical echocardiography lab
  • Must have and maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography
  • Must have and maintain advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge
  • Maintain clinical knowledge of the healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging
  • Technical knowledge of electrophysiology technology, advancements, and business landscape
  • Willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to work in a hospital laboratory setting, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear, and work variable hours
  • May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience strongly preferred
  • CEPS (IBHRE), RCES, or RCIS certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with highly complex technical systems and/or critical patient care settings strongly preferred
