About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and document current and future-state global trade processes
  • Convert business challenges and operational needs into practical, standardized solutions
  • Align requirements and priorities with business leaders, IT teams, compliance specialists, and global process owners
  • Lead workshops, working sessions, and design reviews
  • Simplify processes, strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and increase efficiency
  • Contribute to system configuration, testing, deployment, user acceptance, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization
  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, training materials, and governance artifacts
  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies and raise concerns with recommendations
  • Confirm global trade processes align with trade regulations, company policies, and internal controls
  • Support Johnson & Johnson’s Transcend global ERP transformation program and future global trade operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required
  • Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience supporting global trade compliance operations, trade controls, sanctions, embargoes, sanctions/party lists, or related business processes
  • Experience designing, improving, or implementing business processes
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, and build relationships with technical and business teams in a global, matrixed environment
  • English proficiency, written and verbal, required
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel required
  • Ability to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with two remote workdays available
  • Certifications helpful in PMP, FPX, APICS, Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence
