About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and execute commercial advisory board meetings, Innovation Workshops, VoC calendar engagements, and content for the DePuy Synthes Digital Surgery organization
Manage HCP contracts, time sheets, services, logistics, event documentation, and minutes for key events
Partner with JR & Digital Customer Experience and JIC Customer Liaison Team Leads to develop and execute thought leader engagement strategy
Identify, cultivate, and maintain professional relationships with physicians and medical associations
Define appropriate thought leader engagement activities and coordinate company contact with thought leaders
Collaborate with marketing, clinical affairs, medical affairs, regulatory, R&D, and corporate functions to support strategic plans and business objectives
Partner with GSM, US Marketing, International Marketing, Professional and Commercial Education, and New Technology Managers to facilitate external evaluation and launch of new technologies
Support product development, clinical and education strategy, and marketing messaging
Drive aligned external engagement strategies across multiple stakeholder groups
Provide leadership and insights to the DePuy Synthes leadership team for relevant activities and thought leader engagements
Partner with global cross-functional stakeholders on innovation initiatives spanning Power Tools, Navigation, Robotics, Data & Digital Capabilities, and Advanced Technologies across orthopaedic specialties
Support development, prioritization, execution, and commercialization of the VELYS Digital Surgery portfolio
Report to the Global Head of Robotics, Digital Surgery
Travel 25–40% as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 6 years of relevant business experience is required
Experience successfully leading complex cross-functional projects or programs is required
Ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of strategic business priorities is required
Demonstrated success collaborating with critical internal and external stakeholders is required
Track record of driving strategic change and organizational alignment to meet evolving business needs is required
Strong project management, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required
Experience successfully operating in a matrix environment is required
Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands while maintaining a high level of execution excellence is required
Experience working with product development, upstream marketing, innovation management, portfolio management, or project management is preferred
Understanding of medical device development, commercialization processes, and healthcare markets is preferred
Experience supporting capital equipment, robotics, navigation, software, digital health, or enabling technologies is preferred
