About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver the company’s sales objectives
  • Manage a team of field-based territory managers
  • Ensure direct reports perform their duties and provide a professional, knowledgeable interface with the healthcare community
  • Work closely with the National Sales Director, training, and marketing teams to provide the sales team with tools, support, and education
  • Instill Credo values, lead with integrity, and enforce company policies
  • Partner with employees on professional development plans and hold them accountable for commitments
  • Utilize performance management processes and tools for activity planning and accountability
  • Follow corporate sales direction and lead the team to meet and exceed objectives and metrics
  • Collaborate with internal partners to facilitate direct reports’ work
  • Engage key customers and accounts to drive sales of the overall product portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • At least 7 years of outside sales experience, including experience selling medical devices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a commission-driven position
  • Must be located within the area of responsibility
  • Up to 75% travel within the assigned region
  • Must be willing and able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence and clean driving record
  • Preferred: People Management experience
  • Preferred: Experience with Contracting (development and implementation)
  • Preferred: 7+ years of sales experience including medical device sales of physician preference products
  • Preferred: Experience selling disruptive technologies
  • Preferred: Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or invasive lab environment
  • Preferred: Experience calling on Neurovascular surgeons
  • Preferred: At least 3 years of device management experience
  • Preferred: CRM utilization experience
  • Preferred: Formal Sales Training
