About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver the company's sales objectives
- Manage a team of field-based territory managers
- Ensure direct reports perform their duties and provide a professional, knowledgeable interface with the healthcare community
- Work with the National Sales Director, training, and marketing teams to provide sales tools, support, and education
- Instill Credo values, lead with integrity, and enforce company policies
- Maintain employees' professional development plans and hold employees accountable for commitments
- Use performance management processes and tools for activity planning and accountability
- Follow corporate sales direction and lead the team to meet and exceed objectives and metrics
- Collaborate with internal partners to facilitate direct reports' work
- Engage key customers and accounts to drive sales of the overall product portfolio
- Travel up to 75% within the assigned region
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year degree; major in a technical or scientific field preferred
- At least 7 years of outside sales experience, including medical device sales
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a commission-driven position
- People management experience preferred
- Experience with contracting development and implementation preferred
- 7+ years of sales experience, including medical device sales of physician preference products preferred
- Experience selling disruptive technologies preferred
- Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or invasive lab environment preferred
- Experience calling on neurovascular surgeons preferred
- At least 3 years of device management experience preferred
- CRM utilization experience preferred
- Formal sales training preferred
- Must be located within the area of responsibility
- Must be willing and able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%
- Must have a valid driver's license in state of residence and a clean driving record
