About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and enhance Biosurgery Strategic Capacity Management models for long-range planning and decision-making
  • Develop end-to-end supply chain models covering manufacturing and distribution networks, capacity constraints, production routing, bills of materials, inventory policies, and future investment plans
  • Perform scenario analysis for capacity expansion, process improvement, sourcing changes, network redesign, and demand uncertainty
  • Support annual Long-Range Portfolio Planning and Long-Range Financial Plan cycles across a 2–10 year horizon
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, Business Excellence, Planning, Source, Deliver, Engineering, Finance, Product Management, and Value Stream leadership
  • Translate modeling outputs into executive-ready recommendations on capacity, revenue-at-risk, service, and profitability
  • Support deployment and maturation of Strategic Capacity Management processes in Biosurgery and new product platforms
  • Develop dashboards and analytical tools for capacity constraints, mitigation plans, and planning assumptions
  • Drive continuous improvement through process adherence, governance, documentation, and standardization
  • Partner with digital and IT teams to enhance SCM capabilities through OMP, Power BI, and related planning technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related STEM discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing, operations, analytics, simulation modeling, or strategic planning
  • Experience with capacity planning, supply chain analytics, operations modeling, or manufacturing systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into business recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Analytics, or Business
  • Preferred: Experience with OMP, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, Simio, AnyLogic, or similar tools
  • Preferred: Experience supporting long-range planning, strategic planning, or capacity management processes
  • Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional global teams
  • Preferred: APICS/ASCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications
  • Ability to work at a Johnson & Johnson MedTech location in the United States or Europe
