About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate business partner needs into IT solutions while balancing tradeoffs and business impact
- Participate in multifunctional teams to integrate IT solutions for the Quality Management System and customer/patient needs
- Lead deployments for new in-scope systems, capabilities, platform implementations, and upgrades
- Lead improvements and maintenance of Quality System applications, including user access, master data, configuration, interfaces, process changes, automation, remediation, and validation
- Coordinate surveillance of user accounts and records, data extraction, compilation, and analytics
- Develop and execute test scripts to support system compliance
- Lead or support projects involving acquisitions, divestitures, network changes, organizational changes, enhancements, and program deployments
- Develop and maintain global procedures and processes for PLM, Document Management, CAPA, and NC systems
- Manage spending within approved budgets
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
- Ensure applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental practices for supervised staff and contractors
- Ensure personal and Company compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years of quality, manufacturing, and/or R&D experience within a regulated industry
- Degree concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related subject area is an asset
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of project management principles
- Ability to analyze, balance, and prioritize risk in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated commitment to prioritizing customer and patient needs
- Track record implementing Quality System improvements to meet compliance and business goals
- Experience with NC, CAPA, and change control
- Ability to analyze relevant information and reach independent decisions in a timely manner
- Above average digital literacy and command of Microsoft Office and Copilot AI
- Additional experience with EtQ, Learning Management Systems, Product Lifecycle Management, ERP systems, and Power Apps is a plus
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Computer System Validation processes is a plus
- Ability to comply with applicable federal, state, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
