About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set and own the multi-year global strategy, target architecture, investment roadmap, and value case for Planning Systems & Processes
  • Lead selection, design, implementation, and adoption of a single enterprise APS
  • Partner with ERP leadership to define planning requirements and transition to one ERP-enabled planning model
  • Provide executive business leadership for Company Separation across core planning systems and applications
  • Establish global process ownership and governance for demand, supply, production, distribution, inventory, capacity, and planning master data
  • Standardize, simplify, and document end-to-end planning processes across platforms, regions, markets, and sites
  • Chair cross-functional design and governance forums
  • Own the integrated transformation portfolio, including milestones, dependencies, resources, budget recommendations, benefits, risks, and communications
  • Define the planning data and integration strategy
  • Ensure process design, validation, user acceptance testing, training, cutover, hypercare, and adoption
  • Translate future-state processes into business requirements and product backlogs
  • Drive digital enablement, advanced analytics, automation, and responsible AI use cases
  • Establish post-separation product and support models, including service levels, release management, vendor governance, cybersecurity, access controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Build, lead, and develop a global team of process owners, product owners, program leaders, and system experts
  • Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and implementation partners
  • Benchmark leading practices and represent Global Planning in enterprise transformation forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or a related discipline is required
  • Typically, 15 or more years of progressive experience in complex global supply chain, planning, digital, technology, or business transformation environments, including substantial leadership accountability
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale APS and ERP transformation, process standardization, business separation, carve-out, integration, or comparable high-complexity programs
  • Deep knowledge of advanced planning concepts and end-to-end processes, including demand, supply, inventory, distribution, production, capacity, scenario, and integrated business planning
  • Proven ability to build business cases, govern large portfolios, influence investment decisions, manage implementation partners, and deliver measurable business value
  • Demonstrated expertise in global process ownership, operating-model design, master data governance, solution design, testing, deployment, change leadership, and adoption
  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed, global, and regulated environment
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills
  • Advanced degree is preferred
  • Experience with OMP, Kinaxis, SAP IBP/APO, SAP S/4HANA, or comparable solutions is strongly preferred
  • Healthcare or another regulated industry experience is preferred
  • APICS/ASCM, Lean, Six Sigma, program management, change management, or relevant technology certifications are preferred
