About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, service, and repair medical device equipment in external facilities to support the sales team and customers
- Function as a primary resource for stakeholders
- Provide frequent status updates and documented service reports to stakeholders
- Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities to factory specifications
- Identify problems and recommend resolutions for existing products and procedures
- Analyze service data to schedule proactive and reactive service
- Work closely with colleagues for knowledge and skills transfer
- Maintain trunk inventory and preserve calibrated test equipment and other electronic devices
- Assist in the development of equipment maintenance
- Document and report field service activities and promote process improvements
- Conduct new product evaluations
- Participate in generating technical bulletins and basic operations and service procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred (Electronics, Bio-Medical, Optical, Mechanical) or equivalent military experience
- At least 4 years experience working with providing technical service for medical device equipment
- Technical proficiency on one or more product line modalities
- Ability to operate and maintain a corporate vehicle
- Able to lift or move 50lbs
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time
- Ability to utilize hand tools and electronic test equipment to repair medical lasers and other medical devices
- Ability to acclimate to modified schedules
