About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial strategy and execution for the global Trauma business within MedTech DePuy Synthes
- Partner with senior business leaders and provide strategic decision support
- Deliver financial commitments and improve forecast accuracy
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Maintain strong compliance discipline
- Lead business plans and forecast updates
- Support external business development evaluations
- Influence pricing and deal economics
- Partner cross-functionally to optimize inventory, excess and obsolete reserves, instruments, and capital deployment
- Drive market share growth, gross profit improvement, price realization, lower cost to serve, and improved utilization of Trauma inventory and instruments
- Lead, engage, and develop the Trauma finance team
- Serve as a key member of the Trauma leadership team
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
- MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certification preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of finance business experience
- Strong technical finance capabilities and demonstrated business partnership
- People management experience
- Ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Ability to frame business results and translate insights into action
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
- Ability to think creatively and work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to anticipate changing business requirements across a large, complex landscape
- Demonstrated digital fluency, including leveraging data, analytics, and digital tools
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
