About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic business partner to the US Surgical Vision commercial organization
- Support Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations through data-driven insights, investment analysis, and performance management
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Evaluate commercial investments, promotional programs, pricing initiatives, and business cases
- Analyze sales performance, market dynamics, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and business leaders to support strategic initiatives
- Advise leaders on investment decisions, commercial strategy, and key business priorities
- Lead monthly revenue close activities while maintaining financial controls and SOX compliance
- Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and performance scorecards
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
- MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in finance, business analytics, commercial finance, strategy, or related fields required
- Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business analytics, sales finance, strategy, or related functions supporting business growth and decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations
- Ability to influence decision-making and communicate financial and business insights effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to build partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance
- Experience evaluating investment opportunities, business cases, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives
- Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and data visualization or automation tools preferred
- Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance tracking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
