About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as strategic finance partner to EMEA Plan, Source, and Supplier Engineering departments
- Ensure accurate financials and lead planning and forecasting activities aligned with strategic priorities
- Develop and deliver performance reporting, analysis, and actionable financial insights
- Partner with US counterparts, Global Services, and business partners
- Lead and coordinate Opex, Capex, and Inventory budgeting, forecasting, and actual reporting
- Own cost center budget-versus-actual analytics, including P&L, capex, and headcount
- Develop business commentary, provide counsel, influence decisions, and support action planning
- Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventories, identify root causes, and influence remediation
- Own purchase price variance analysis and implement corrective actions with procurement and operations
- Oversee physical inventory controls and resolve variances in line with compliance requirements
- Analyze scrap drivers, recommend mitigation actions, and track savings
- Lead finance support for material-master change requests and assess financial impacts
- Manage GR/IR reconciliation and month-end accuracy
- Support Capital Appropriation Request preparation and submission
- Own SOX controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Establish interaction models with business partners, Global Services, and supply chain teams
- Identify financial opportunities and risks and align stakeholders on targets
- Foster internal collaboration across the Supply Chain Finance organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Adaptive preferred
- Intellectual curiosity and confidence to operate autonomously with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- German language skills considered an advantage
- Understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including responsible and ethical AI practices
- Experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity
