About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead business partners through critical forecasting cycles and evaluate internal and external risks and market drivers
  • Develop the annual revenue and gross profit plan
  • Complete forecast updates with business partners and ensure reliable, timely submission of information
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and support high-visibility projects
  • Challenge business assumptions and develop alternative scenarios
  • Educate business partners on financial issues and concepts
  • Provide monthly sales reporting to senior management
  • Conduct Investor Relations analysis, price/volume/mix analysis, gross-to-net analysis, and revenue SOX compliance activities
  • Perform month-end and quarter-close activities
  • Recommend improvements to the value of financial information supplied to upper management
  • Provide guidance to business partners
  • Support DePuy Synthes US Commercial and Innovation with financial analytics, profitability analysis, strategic initiatives, expense management, and sales and financial reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • A CPA, MBA or CMA is preferred
  • A minimum of three years of finance experience is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required
  • Collaborative style and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various levels of management and external customers
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in Raynham, MA, with consideration in West Chester, PA; Warsaw, IN; Cincinnati, OH; or Raritan, NJ
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
