About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Track the organization’s financial performance
Provide financial guidance to Distribution business partners
Advise distribution, warehousing, and transportation teams on budget management and resource allocation
Identify opportunities to optimize expenditures and capital investments
Complete financial forecasts, including BP, JU, NU, and Latest Thinkings
Perform reporting and analysis of complex financial data to influence decisions and set strategy
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
Perform consolidation, analysis, and reporting
Maintain strong compliance discipline
Support market share and gross profit improvement
Help lower the cost to serve
Improve utilization of investments in inventory and instruments
Serve as a key member of the Global Distribution Finance leadership team
Collaborate with senior leadership teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
Preferably a major in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 3 years of finance business experience is required
Strong technical finance capabilities and demonstrated business partnership
Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Ability to think creatively and work effectively in a team environment
Ability to anticipate changing business requirements across a large, complex landscape
Ability to recommend and implement process improvements
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated digital fluency, including leveraging data, analytics, and digital tools
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to be based in a DePuy Synthes office in West Chester, Pennsylvania; Raynham, Massachusetts; Raritan, New Jersey; Warsaw, Indiana; or Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Approximately 10% travel required
MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certification preferred
