About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a business partner to the DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction Commercial team
  • Provide critical financial insights and influence business decisions that impact business objectives
  • Proactively provide executive-level communication regarding financial results
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting for the Joint Reconstruction selling budget
  • Manage selling expenses across forecast cycles
  • Explain variances to prior forecasts and targets
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Deliver detailed financial reporting and actionable insights to selling leadership
  • Facilitate the development and evaluation of commission structures
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic guidance
  • Build and manage relationships with cross-functional partners across DePuy Synthes
  • Provide financial guidance for ongoing projects by consolidating data, assessing risks and opportunities, developing recommendations, and presenting insights to leadership
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, SOX compliance, and finance requirements associated with the organizational transition
  • Support evolving priorities across the Joint Reconstruction and broader DePuy Synthes teams
  • Proactively develop knowledge of diverse areas of the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • A major in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required
  • CPA, MBA, CMA or other related certification is preferred
  • A minimum of three years of finance, business experience or related leadership experience is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required
  • Collaborative and inquisitive style while working with a cross-functional organization with many partners is required
  • Ability to apply data and strong analytics to influence executive decision making is required
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with various levels of management and external customers is required
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required
  • This role may require up to 10% domestic travel
