About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish the experience strategy and clear priorities across complex products, platforms, and services
Lead and mentor designers while aligning cross-functional leaders
Translate emerging technology, including agentic and AI-enabled capabilities, into responsible, intuitive, and scalable experiences
Set and champion the experience vision and drive design strategy
Design and conduct user research studies; coach and mentor junior designers in user research
Lead product experience activities from opportunity framing and strategic alignment through prototyping, validation, implementation, and iterative release
Influence product and technology strategy by translating user needs, business priorities, data, and technical constraints into experience opportunities and recommendations
Lead employee and contractor designers and optimize resource mix and capabilities
Establish and scale design capabilities across Latin America by building a regional Design Delivery Center
Frame team priorities, simplify complex problems, and use prototyping to make concepts tangible
Advocate for responsible, inclusive, and human-centered AI experiences
Establish team-level success metrics to demonstrate design impact

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Centered Design, Product Design, Interaction Design or design-adjacent areas
10+ years of experience in user experience, digital product design or related field, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
Portfolio demonstrating strategic and end-to-end design leadership, strong interaction and visual craft, systems thinking, use of AI tools, and measurable impact
Ability to establish team priorities, align stakeholders, and make effective trade-offs
Proficiency in Figma and Maze
Familiarity with agile product development practices
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
Willingness and ability to travel globally and within the region approximately 25%
Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Centered Design, Interaction Design or design-adjacent areas
Preferred: Experience designing for healthcare, complex workflows or regulated environments
Preferred: Familiarity with AI-enabled or emerging technology experiences
Preferred: Experience with corporate platforms and solutions such as Workday and ServiceNow
