About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and maintain the multi-year DePuy Synthes EMEA Deliver technology roadmap
Translate business capabilities and pain points into a prioritised, sequenced and funded portfolio
Provide strategic direction across logistics platforms, warehouse automation, data, integration and emerging digital capabilities
Serve as the primary technology partner for DePuy Synthes EMEA Deliver
Represent EMEA priorities in global forums and ensure appropriate adoption of global standards and roadmaps
Oversee the EMEA Deliver technology ecosystem, including ERP, WMS, WCS/WES, TMS, warehouse automation, transportation, labelling, visibility, data, analytics and integrations
Define target-state architecture and reduce fragmentation and technical debt
Own technology service health and lifecycle performance across the regional Deliver landscape
Establish operational governance, service-level expectations, risk management, root-cause follow-through and lifecycle plans
Ensure critical incidents and recurring service issues receive sustainable corrective actions
Own portfolio planning and prioritisation across run, lifecycle, compliance, growth and transformation demand
Develop business cases, funding plans and financial forecasts across CAPEX, OPEX and run costs
Define benefits, baselines and success measures and drive value-realisation reviews
Establish technology governance for 3PLs, logistics providers, automation partners and technology vendors
Lead technology delivery for major network, ERP, warehouse, automation, separation and logistics-transformation programmes
Embed business continuity, cutover readiness, operational resilience and contingency planning into transformation execution
Lead and develop a high-performing team and partner network
Influence senior business and technology stakeholders across a complex matrix
Promote simplification, standardisation, reuse, data-driven decisions and responsible adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain technology, with significant focus on logistics, Deliver, warehousing and transportation processes
Proven people-leadership experience, including building, developing and leading teams across multiple countries
Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills in a complex matrix organisation
Proven experience owning and executing a multi-year technology roadmap and investment portfolio
Experience across ERP, WMS, WCS/WES, TMS, warehouse automation and enterprise or external-partner integrations
Experience in operational service management and technology lifecycle governance, including reliability, resilience, cybersecurity, compliance, obsolescence and disaster-recovery readiness
Leadership of complex logistics or warehouse transformation programmes, including business continuity, operational readiness, cutover, risk management and post-go-live stabilisation
Accountability for business cases, portfolio prioritisation, budgets, financial forecasting and benefits realisation
Experience governing 3PLs, managed-service providers, automation partners and technology vendors
Understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles, integration patterns and data flows
Ability to define, govern and communicate measurable business, operational, financial and technology outcomes
English proficiency required
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally within EMEA
Preferred: experience in MedTech, healthcare, life sciences or another regulated industry
Preferred: experience delivering major ERP, warehouse-modernisation, automation, network-transformation, separation or integration programmes
Preferred: familiarity with data, analytics, cloud and AI-enabled supply chain capabilities
Preferred certifications: APICS/ASCM (CSCP or CPIM), PMP or equivalent, SAP logistics certifications
Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus
