About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide statistical input into the clinical development of drugs for treatment of cancer
- Work with the clinical team in designing clinical studies
- Lead and author statistical analysis plans
- Conduct statistical analyses
- Provide statistical input to clinical study reports
- Provide input in preparing scientific presentations and manuscripts
- Participate in process improvement, training, standards development, and enhancing statistical technical expertise
- Liaise with statisticians and therapeutic area leaders
- Build working relationships with internal SAS programmers, clinical trial managers, regulatory affairs, medical writing, and other disciplines
- Support the Oncology Therapeutic Area, including solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, cancer interception, biomarkers, and early tumor microenvironment changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ph D in Statistics or related field, OR a Master’s Degree with at least six (6) years of clinical data analysis experience
- Working knowledge of statistical software such as SAS and R
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements for clinical drug development, including the conduct of clinical trials (preferred)
- Experience presenting to technical and lay groups at public meetings (preferred)
- Experience working in the area of Oncology (a plus)
- May require up to approximately 10% international and domestic travel
