About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, lead, and execute complex engineering projects or portions of project scope
Ensure alignment with corporate goals, customer requirements, and GXP regulatory standards
Combine technical expertise with project management skills to deliver innovative solutions
Oversee project lifecycles from feasibility through closure
Support continuous improvement within multidisciplinary teams
Act as Core Team Member in high-complexity projects and coordinate the complete engineering scope
Provide technical support for project planning, development, implementation, and modification
Develop and review technical specifications, reports, proposals, and presentations
Exercise independent judgment on significant work details and adapt engineering alternatives
Translate project scope into request-for-quotation packages
Perform applicable GXP requirements, including Change Control
Check and approve drawings and calculations for design or construction
Verify designs comply with Dutch, European, and Janssen Biologics standards
Manage progress and quality with external engineering firms, on-site contractors, and internal stakeholders
Coordinate modifications and participate in Management of Change for proper implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

University / Bachelor or equivalent degree in Engineering or Life Sciences
7-9 years of experience in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience managing complex projects with cross-disciplinary teams
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant engineering tools
Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
VCA-VOL Qualification (Diploma)
Workable knowledge on Eudralex Annex 1 application
