About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the supply chain lead on large global new product development or lifecycle programs
  • Orchestrate supply chain readiness from Charter preparation through GATE 6/stabilization and potentially beyond, including end-to-end supply execution
  • Design and establish value chains for new products or key brands
  • Drive end-to-end value through program management and collaboration with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Planning, and supply chain partners
  • Drive alignment to the supply chain readiness process and functional accountability
  • Deliver project communications to leaders across multiple organizational levels
  • Build multifunctional teams and mentor team members
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
  • Supervise or lead full-time and contractor resources as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, federal, state, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, or R&D in a Healthcare Industry
  • Project Management experience, including developing and implementing processes for new or existing products/process and/or new technologies
  • Demonstrated ability applying project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and organizational change techniques
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results through internal and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • E2E mindset, including business acumen and ability to manage project financials
  • Preferred: focused degree in engineering or science related field
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Preferred: project management methodology certification such as PMP/PMI or FPX
  • Preferred: Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Manufacturing experience
  • Preferred: familiarity with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and/or Quality
  • Preferred: Medical Device industry experience
  • Preferred: Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; certification is a plus
  • Preferred: master production schedule, inventory management, and supply chain management knowledge
  • Preferred: global environment experience
  • Preferred: P&L calculation and COGS knowledge
  • Preferred: engineering and project management principles, including Risk Management, FPX, Harmonized Stage Gate Process, FMEA, DFM/A, scientific molding, and capital equipment systems manufacturing/inspection processes
  • Preferred: proficiency in three-dimensional modeling, drafting, layout techniques, GD&T, and engineering calculations
  • Preferred: ability to lead design and manufacturing-related activities
  • Preferred: process validation procedures IQ/OQ/PQ, protocols, execution, and report writing
  • Preferred: capital equipment systems, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques
  • Preferred: FDA, BSI, ISO, and GMP requirements knowledge
  • Preferred: manufacturing or external manufacturing/supplier management experience
  • Preferred: experience with metals, polymers/plastics, sterile packaging systems, electronic components, additive manufacturing, and absorbable technologies
  • Preferred: supply chain, manufacturing, or new product introduction leadership across diverse product portfolios
  • Preferred: S&OP/IBP planning concepts
