About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as supply chain lead on large global NPD or lifecycle programs
- Orchestrate Supply Chain readiness from Charter preparation through GATE 6/stabilization and potentially beyond, including end-to-end supply execution
- Design and establish value chains for new products or key brands
- Align value chains with key business functions and strategies
- Provide program management to drive end-to-end value
- Collaborate with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Planning, and other supply chain partners
- Drive alignment to the supply chain readiness process and functional accountability
- Deliver project communications to leaders across multiple organizational levels
- Build multifunctional teams and mentor team members
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
- Potentially supervise and lead full-time and contractor resources
- Ensure applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines are followed by supervised staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional work experience
- Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, or R&D in a Healthcare Industry
- Project Management experience, including developing and implementing processes for new or existing products/process and/or new technologies
- Demonstrated ability applying project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and organizational change techniques
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results through internal and external partners
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills
- Experience in data analytics
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment where priorities change rapidly
- Outstanding attention to detail
- E2E mindset, including business acumen and ability to manage project financials
- English fluency required
- Preferred: focused degree in engineering or science-related field
- Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Preferred: Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Manufacturing experience
- Preferred: familiarity with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and/or Quality
- Preferred: Medical Device industry experience
- Preferred: Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; certification is a plus
- Preferred: master production schedule, inventory management, and supply chain management knowledge
- Preferred: global environment experience
- Preferred: understanding of P&L calculation and COGS
- Preferred: Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX certification
- Preferred: engineering and project management principles, including Risk Management, FPX, Harmonized Stage Gate, FMEA, DFM/A, scientific molding, and capital equipment systems manufacturing/inspection processes
- Preferred: proficiency in three-dimensional modeling, drafting, layout techniques, GD&T, and engineering calculations
- Preferred: ability to lead design and manufacturing-related activities
- Preferred: process validation experience with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, execution, and report writing
- Preferred: capital equipment systems, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques experience
- Preferred: knowledge of FDA, BSI, ISO, and GMP requirements
- Preferred: experience in Manufacturing or External Manufacturing/managing suppliers
- Preferred: experience supporting product platforms and manufacturing technologies including metals, polymers/plastics, sterile packaging systems, electronic components, additive manufacturing, and absorbable technologies
- Preferred: ability to lead supply chain, manufacturing, or new product introduction activities across diverse product portfolios
- Preferred: understanding of S&OP/IBP planning concepts
