About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support high-throughput process development, protein purification, chromatography, filtration, and bioconjugation development activities
  • Design, execute, and document laboratory experiments evaluating process performance, operating conditions, and scalability
  • Perform chromatography, resin screening, protein characterization, conjugation, and purification studies using laboratory and automated platforms
  • Support scale-down model development and evaluation, high-throughput screening workflows, and automation technologies
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical and quantitative methods
  • Participate in experimental design discussions and help identify solutions to technical challenges
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners across scientific, engineering, manufacturing, and digital organizations
  • Develop workflows, tools, best practices, and platform strategies improving process efficiency, consistency, and knowledge management
  • Support digital initiatives involving data analysis, visualization, programming, process automation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks, technical documentation, and project records
  • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical, Biochemical, Biological, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Science, Mathematics, Related Engineering or Scientific disciplines
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher across all college coursework
  • No Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment interfering with the specified contract dates
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze complex technical and quantitative problems using data-driven approaches
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in biologics manufacturing, process development, laboratory execution, and digital technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and learning agility
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship
  • If under 18, ability to obtain required working papers or documentation and parent consent for background check
  • Preferred: laboratory, research, biologics process development, or manufacturing-related experience
  • Preferred: experimental design, execution, and scientific data interpretation experience
  • Preferred: protein purification, protein characterization, and basic protein biochemistry experience
  • Preferred: multichannel pipetting and small-volume sample handling
  • Preferred: chromatography experience including HPLC, FPLC, column chromatography, resin screening, and chromatography process development
  • Preferred: downstream bioprocessing and scale-down model development or validation knowledge
  • Preferred: Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) experience
  • Preferred: Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), ion-exchange, mixed-mode resins, and chromatographic performance metrics knowledge
  • Preferred: plate-based assays, HTPD, and high-throughput screening workflows
  • Preferred: laboratory automation platforms such as Tecan systems
  • Preferred: bioconjugation, antibody conjugates, ADC-related laboratory techniques, or purification workflows
  • Preferred: data analysis, data visualization, modeling, application development, or programming tools
  • Basic programming and data aggregation/analysis experience is a plus, but not required
  • Preferred: statistics and data-driven decision-making experience
  • Ineligibility for severance
