About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead planning and coordination of technology solutions with enterprise product teams and delivery partners
- Translate business priorities, operational challenges, and risks into a short- and mid-term technology roadmap
- Serve as the primary technology contact for site leadership and business stakeholders
- Coordinate collaboration between MedTech global businesses and technology teams, including digital topics and escalations
- Own identification, prioritization, delivery, and lifecycle management of technology demand and capabilities
- Align local technology solutions with standard enterprise product categories and contribute to a global standardized ecosystem
- Develop and maintain the site IT roadmap and support business cases and investment justification
- Drive speed-to-value through Agile and iterative delivery practices
- Establish stakeholder communications covering roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Partner with external vendors on resourcing, delivery quality, timelines, budgets, and governance
- Manage IT finances, operating budgets, total cost of ownership, and cost optimization
- Improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and cost effectiveness of plant technology solutions
- Own operational performance and technology continuity, including incident management, escalations, root-cause analysis, service governance, service-level adherence, and reliability improvement
- Embed quality, safety, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, risk management, reliability, and technology lifecycle practices into roadmaps
- Lead site technology operations and coordinate internal team members and vendors
- Provide direct people-management accountability where assigned
- Identify and drive innovation opportunities that address site priorities and create measurable business value
- Lead the technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and platform capabilities for Sales experiences within J&J MedTech’s Microsoft Dynamics-based global CXM platform
- Connect platform, data, and intelligence across Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, Outlook, Co-Pilot, and related commercial platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 7 years of related experience in IT
- Experience leading technology delivery and support in a regulated manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment
- Ability to translate business needs into technology roadmaps, investment priorities, and executable plans
- Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and influencing across multiple functions
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost optimization, and total cost of ownership
- Experience managing complexity, concurrent initiatives, and competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause identification and practical solution development
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, coaching contributors, and coordinating internal teams and external partners
- Experience with project management or Agile methodologies
- Preferred: experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain business processes and technology solutions
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk management, and technology lifecycle management
- Experience with external vendors and global or enterprise IT service organizations
- Familiarity with XR/VR, LMS systems, digital ecosystems, and CRM
- Familiarity with AI concepts and technology innovation
- Direct people-management experience preferred where the role includes assigned reports
