About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead planning and coordination of technology solutions supporting platform transformation, deployment, and ongoing operations
  • Translate business priorities, operational challenges, and risks into a 0–5 year technology roadmap
  • Serve as trusted technology partner and primary JJT contact for site leadership and business stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritize, deliver, and manage the lifecycle of technology demand and capabilities
  • Align local solutions with standard enterprise product categories and global systems/application ecosystems
  • Develop and maintain the site IT roadmap and support business cases and investment justification
  • Drive speed-to-value through Agile and iterative delivery practices
  • Establish communications cadence covering roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Partner with external vendors on resourcing, delivery quality, timelines, budgets, and governance
  • Manage IT finances, operating budgets, total cost of ownership, and cost optimization
  • Improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and cost effectiveness of plant technology solutions
  • Own operational performance and technology continuity, including incident management, escalations, root-cause analysis, service governance, risk management, and reliability improvement
  • Embed quality, safety, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, risk management, reliability, and lifecycle management into roadmaps
  • Lead internal team members and vendors to deliver high-quality IT services, with people-management accountability where assigned
  • Identify and drive innovation opportunities that address priorities and create measurable business value
  • Lead the technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and platform capabilities for MedTech’s AI-powered Microsoft Dynamics sales platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
  • 7 years of related experience in IT
  • Proven experience leading technology delivery and support in a regulated manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology roadmaps, investment priorities, and executable plans
  • Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and influencing across multiple functions
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, cost optimization, and total cost of ownership
  • Experience managing complexity, concurrent initiatives, and competing priorities in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause identification
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, coaching contributors, and coordinating internal teams and external partners
  • Experience with project management or Agile methodologies
  • Preferred: experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain processes and technology solutions
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk management, and technology lifecycle management
  • Experience with external vendors and global or enterprise IT service organizations
  • Familiarity with XR/VR, LMS systems, digital ecosystems, and CRM
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and technology innovation
