About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve sales goals and key business metrics in the assigned territory by executing company strategies and tactics
  • Utilize company programs to drive market share gains
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, EP laboratory staff, hospital administration, purchasing personnel, and C-Suite hospital executives
  • Coordinate business priorities and activities of a team including Clinical Account Specialists and partners such as Field Service Engineers and Ultrasound CAS
  • Drive the territory business plan through regular pod communications, business assessments, growth opportunities, and action plans
  • Support new product introductions
  • Communicate pricing according to company policies
  • Make budgetary proposals and follow up on contracts
  • Manage customer groups including large hospital systems, IDNs, GPOs, teaching hospitals, city hospitals, and community hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Three years of healthcare and/or business-to-business sales experience or equivalent level experience in a cardio/cardiovascular environment
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
  • Ability to wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in lab environment
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Previous medical device sales experience preferred
  • Cardiology/cardiovascular or medical device industry experience, with EP experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills preferred
  • Documented sales awards and achievements preferred
  • Prior management experience preferred
