About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Expand sales of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular Division products
  • Convert competitive products in accordance with company policy and sales direction
  • Demonstrate proper surgical use of products to physicians after training
  • Handle customer product questions and objections using sales training methodology
  • Maintain and expand current accounts
  • Build new accounts and develop strong customer relationships
  • Meet quotas for a variety of products
  • Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare or business-to-business sales experience is required
  • A minimum of 5+ years of Medical Device sales experience
  • Neurovascular experience preferred
  • Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or Radiology suite environment is strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish an effective work schedule accommodating frequent disruptions and flexible work hours
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
  • Must successfully complete Company training programs
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence
  • Must have a valid driver’s license issued in the United States
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to multitask without direct manager oversight
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%
  • Ability to work near heavy machinery, lift up to 40 lbs, and wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in a lab environment
