About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Expand sales of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular Division products
- Convert competitive products in accordance with company policy and sales direction
- Demonstrate proper surgical use of products to physicians after training
- Handle customer product questions and objections using sales training methodology
- Maintain and expand current accounts
- Build new accounts and develop strong customer relationships
- Meet quotas for a variety of products
- Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare or business-to-business sales experience is required
- A minimum of 5+ years of Medical Device sales experience
- Neurovascular experience preferred
- Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or Radiology suite environment strongly preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to establish an effective work schedule accommodating frequent disruptions and flexible work hours
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
- Must successfully complete Company training programs
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license issued in the United States and in the state of residence
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to multitask without direct oversight
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%
- Ability to work periodically near and with heavy machinery
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in a lab environment
