About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first-line technical support to users, participants, partners, and Johnstone University learners for online and in-person training
  • Provide Johnstone Distributors with guidance and support for training programs and available tools and resources
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning data and content on Johnstone University
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, support university navigation, triage content requests, complete manual passes, change groups, add stores, update course information, and share courses
  • Escalate complex support requests as needed
  • Maintain and clean up user and course data
  • Generate summary reports and dashboards
  • Maintain incentives and badges on Johnstone University
  • Review, load, and test course content, including graphics, descriptions, outlines, and metadata
  • Test and validate university functionality
  • Coordinate workshop logistics, materials, meeting rooms, lodging, catering, and transportation
  • Resolve workshop registration and travel-related support requests
  • Register attendees in pre-work and follow up on completion progress
  • Send final workshop confirmations
  • Create and maintain workshop and webinar course records
  • Load and test new content with the Content Developer
  • Update training contacts in the PIM database
  • Assist with social media content loading and tracking
  • Load marketing and supplier course content to Johnstone University and other platforms
  • Verify monthly ads, featured courses, and related messaging
  • Assist with contests, promotions, giveaways, annual meetings, and trade shows
  • Maintain NATE completion certificates and assist learners with state certification documentation
  • Support the Contractor Training Program manager
  • Create, maintain, and ship business planning kits and materials
  • Assist with communication, survey maintenance, monthly accounting, and data audits
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; at least two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
  • Ability to use email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs (Office 365)
  • Ability to use graphic clipping or creation software (Adobe, SnagIt)
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new software programs
  • Experience with database software or Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
  • Ability to attend to details and solve problems
  • Ability to establish goals and timelines and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and create and follow standardized procedures
  • Ability to develop and use systems for organizing and tracking information
  • Ability to research, gather, and update data
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Demonstrated superior critical thinking skills
  • Clear written communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and procedures
  • Ability to communicate across individuals, departments, and external parties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting, using hands, reaching, and talking or hearing
