About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer inbound calls and emails regarding billing, contracts, and payment options for fitness clubs
  • Serve as point of contact for strategic fitness clubs requiring customer service support
  • Work with fitness club owners, internal and external customers, and stakeholders to address client needs and secure memberships
  • Provide telephone consultation regarding policies and guidelines
  • Use knowledge bases and quick guides for club support
  • Monitor wallboards and clear phone queues when calls exceed established thresholds
  • Maximize phone availability and minimize customer hold times
  • Log calls and document relevant client interaction and services rendered
  • Provide software support and exceed customer service quality standards
  • Meet or exceed performance benchmarks and support service-level objectives and operational initiatives
  • Work on special projects assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma required; some college preferred
  • Previous help desk experience with general familiarity of call center performance metrics
  • Ability to work in a high-call-volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Complaint handling and case resolution experience
  • Customer service and analytical skills in a call center environment
  • Effective time management and schedule adherence skills
  • Experience with MS Office and other desktop software applications
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Detailed troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation and client follow-up skills
