About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Find and win new business with qualified targets in the assigned sales territory
  • Prepare and maintain a regional territory plan identifying key markets and targets
  • Identify business opportunities through research, qualifying, and discovery
  • Build relationships to gain trust and position products as solutions meeting customer needs and goals
  • Work alongside Application Consultants to provide tailored presentations showcasing product differentiators
  • Maintain existing client relationships through continued guidance, recommendations, and industry best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends, market activities, and competitor products
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies
  • Maintain a clean and accurate Salesforce.com pipeline for weekly review with the Vice President of Sales
  • Set expectations with prospects regarding solutions, installation/training procedures, and product support
  • Follow company policies regarding pre-configurations, proposals, and contracts
  • Manage sales-related expenses with the Vice President of Sales to maximize territory profitability
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report to the Vice President of Sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of consultative software sales experience
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding annual quota
  • Solution selling experience preferred
  • Hospitality Industry experience a plus
  • Ability to conduct sales presentations emphasizing benefits in relation to prospect needs
  • General experience with Windows and MS Office software
  • Ability to learn technical details regarding computer hardware and third-party software products
  • Ability to work well individually or as part of a team
  • Desire to provide outstanding customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Willingness to enhance own performance through self-study
  • High degree of confidentiality concerning Jonas Chorum and customer business
  • Willingness to travel; travel required 60%
