About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close; meet or exceed new business targets.
- Present the product online and in-person to researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians.
- Proactively build and maintain pipeline through outreach via emails, calls, and in-person meetings.
- Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions based on work priorities.
- Work with Marketing and Customer Success on sales targets, renewals, team projects, and campaigns.
- Attend trade shows and participate in other marketing activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech, STEM Publishing or SaaS.
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in-person and online.
- Experienced with Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and willing to learn new skills.
- Willingness to travel at least 5 days per month is required.
