About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop modular full-vehicle multi-body simulation models based on component libraries and subsystem models
Perform multi-body simulations of full-vehicle dynamics, including derivation of dynamic loads for downstream finite element analyses
Perform stability analyses for different types and configurations of industrial trucks
Analyze simulation results to identify critical system behavior, load paths, sensitivities, and optimization potential
Develop improvement proposals in close collaboration with development engineers
Validate and correlate simulation models against physical test data
Prepare technical reports and presentations
Communicate simulation results, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations to engineering and project stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computational engineering, or a related technical field
Professional experience in multi-body simulation of vehicles or other complex mechanical systems; experienced candidates as well as junior engineers with a strong relevant background are welcome
Hands-on experience with multi-body simulation software, preferably MSC Adams
Programming and scripting skills, preferably Python and/or MATLAB, for simulation automation, model generation, data processing, and post-processing
Experience with finite element analysis and CAD systems is an advantage
Ability to communicate complex technical results clearly to engineering and project stakeholders
Strong written and spoken English; German is an advantage
Willingness to travel to Germany approximately 2–3 times per year
