About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the quality gate across mobile, web, and backend systems
  • Design test scenarios and investigate root causes
  • Participate in product and technical grooming and identify risks before development
  • Collaborate with the Automation team to expand test coverage and improve regression suites
  • Decide which tests should be automated versus manual
  • Own testing and verification for Scrum commitments, including regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Leverage AI tools and agents to create test scenarios, identify requirement gaps, and reduce repetitive manual work
  • Share AI-driven QA learnings with the team
  • Build working relationships with developers and cross-functional Product, Business, and Automation partners
  • Identify and implement at least one AI-driven QA initiative by month six, measure its impact, and present it to Engineering
  • Minimise defects escaping to production and improve bug resolution velocity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of hands-on QA experience
  • Demonstrated strength in test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis
  • Measurably improved a quality outcome across a real product or service
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced tech environment
  • Practical use of AI tools in QA or development work
  • Understanding of automation concepts and test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with automation engineers
  • Experience with mobile, web, and backend systems and their testing implications
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to work remotely 5 days a week based on the UAE time zone
  • Ability to work in a remote setup
  • Must specify notice period, if applicable
  • Must provide coding experience, if any
