About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the quality gate across mobile, web, and backend systems
  • Design test scenarios and investigate root causes
  • Participate in product and technical grooming to identify risks before development
  • Collaborate with the Automation team to expand test coverage and improve regression suites
  • Determine which tests should be automated versus manual
  • Own testing and verification for Scrum commitments, including regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Leverage AI tools and agents for test scenario creation, requirements analysis, and reducing repetitive manual work
  • Build relationships with developers and cross-functional partners in Product, Business, and Automation
  • Implement at least one AI-driven QA initiative by month six, measure its impact, and present it to Engineering
  • Minimise defects escaping to production and improve bug-resolution speed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of hands-on QA experience
  • Demonstrated strength in test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis
  • Measurably improved a quality outcome across a real product or service
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced tech environment
  • Practical use of AI tools in QA or development work
  • Understanding of automation concepts and test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with automation engineers
  • Experience with complex products involving mobile, web, and backend systems
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to work remotely 5 days a week based on the UAE time zone
  • Test automation experience and coding experience are assessed in the application
