About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop features across a stack based on Angular and Node.js, deployed on Microsoft Azure
Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams to find technical solutions for customer challenges
Ensure long-term sustainability and maintainability of the codebase
Make architecture decisions and participate in code reviews
Use AI coding agents for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and code review
Help integrate agentic development tooling into engineering practices and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in product discovery and shape software solutions around user needs
Participate in knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional software development experience
Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals and systems thinking
Track record of making sound technical and architectural decisions
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, Angular and/or NodeJS preferred
Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and tools
Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in a professional setting
Ability to determine when and how to rely on AI coding agents
Proven ability to work closely with product teams to shape and deliver impactful customer experiences
Ability and willingness to join the team occasionally at the JUSTROCKET community house in Cluj
Strong English communication skills, written and spoken
Experience with Azure OpenAI Services, LangGraph, and pgvector/RAG architectures
Background in industrial or manufacturing software, MES, or ERP integrations
Experience writing architectural decision records or cost/build-vs-buy analyses
