About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered features end-to-end, from proof of concept to production
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML services, APIs, and open-source models
Solve customer problems involving document processing, root-cause analysis, and ERP/MES integrations
Shape the AI/ML technology stack, tools, frameworks, and architecture
Build and maintain evaluation frameworks for AI output quality, reliability, and safety
Collaborate with product and engineering teams
Identify high-impact AI opportunities
Grow AI competency across the team
Work with product owners, UX/UI, and the overall development team

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with proven hands-on AI/ML experience
Experience with LLM integration, data pipelines, or ML model deployment
Strong software engineering fundamentals and modern development practices
Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases, and OpenAI APIs
Familiarity with TypeScript and web frameworks
Ability to move from proof of concept to production
Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Azure OpenAI Services, LangGraph, and pgvector/RAG architectures is nice to have
Background in industrial or manufacturing software, MES, or ERP integrations is nice to have
Experience writing architectural decision records or cost/build-vs-buy analyses is nice to have
