About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee daily aspects of Healthcare Skills Training programs and pipelines
  • Manage career coaching functions, employer engagement, programmatic outcomes, and data management
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with employers, funders, and partner organizations
  • Supervise and support coaching staff, career navigators, and direct-service staff
  • Track, report, and evaluate recruitment, completion, certification, placement, retention, funding, and satisfaction outcomes
  • Integrate career exploration and job-readiness skills across Healthcare Skills Training Programs
  • Lead staff meetings, team projects, and cross-department collaboration
  • Hire, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate coaching staff
  • Maintain workforce development, labor market, job listing, training, and support-service knowledge
  • Develop employment opportunities aligned with participant career goals
  • Oversee communications, outreach, assessment, enrollment, and service delivery
  • Develop employer engagement strategies and coordinate employer meetings
  • Plan and support graduation ceremonies and Healthcare job fairs
  • Ensure accurate and complete entry of program data into tracking systems
  • Develop and update program and employer-partner forms and procedures
  • Coordinate training externship components with staff and employers
  • Communicate with supervisors and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of program management and supervisory experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in workforce development or a related field, preferably career development
  • Experience overseeing job training programs for adults preferred
  • Ability to analyze course outcomes and propose means to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and clients from diverse cultural, socio-economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of business networks and web-based resources preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
