• Characterization of MMICs and RFICs in the micro- and millimeter wave range (>100 GHz)
• Carrying out on-wafer measurements using wafer probers (e.g. MPI)
• Setup, operation and optimization of RF measuring stations (VNA incl. extender, probe stations, load-pull / noise if necessary)
• Carrying out and evaluating S-parameter, power and linearity measurements (e.g. IP3, P1dB)
• Application of calibration and de-embedding procedures (TRL, SOLT, LRM)
• Analysis and interpretation of measurement results and derivation of design feedback
• Automation of measurement sequences and data evaluation (Python, MATLAB)
• Support with silicon bring-up and validation of new designs
• Coordination with internal teams (design, test) and external partners if necessary
• Work in a high-end RF laboratory environment with a focus on MMIC characterization
• High proportion of practical laboratory work
• Collaboration in an experienced development environment
